Wake Up By Going to Sleep
Stumbling through your daily life, with your family and career both being in a fog because of the fact that sleep is just not coming to you, is a horrific thing for the mind and body. The brain will slow from fatigue; it will become half it’s worth and make your anxiety rise right along with the depression that will set in from your body aching because you are beyond tired.
Energy and motivation are gone when you become fatigued. And, unfortunately, it isn’t just a ‘tired’ issue you have to deal with; the more fatigued you become, the more likely that thyroid problems, anemia, or even depression will grow to be far bigger problems in your life that will have you heading to the doctor for help.
What many do not understand, choosing to blame their exhaustion on work, family, or life in general – is the fact that fatigue is all about a person’s habits. It is your fault that you are fatigued, because of the daily habits you have set in place for yourself that the body and mind simply can not deal with. You need to allow both to be able to operate and operate well.
To do this, everything from fitness (Xist Fitness) to healthcare in the form of relaxation (MassageLuXe), to the keeping up of your body’s outer layer that must be protected (FaceLuXe), all of these issues need to be addressed. You need to get back on the road to good health, and that starts by going to sleep.
Everyone remembers high school – even if we definitely do not want to. Back then, when we were young, the alarm clock went off or, more likely, the parent came in and announced that we better get out of bed, and we groaned. Rolling over, we covered our heads with the blanket and tried to pretend that it was Saturday and the rest of the world was simply wrong. As adults, we do still want that ten minutes more of sleep, and we do want it to be Saturday instead of Monday. But as adults, we not only want that – we need it. Hence, that is one thing about humans that never changes no matter what the age. BUT, when you have grown up and are living the adult life, if it actually hurts to get out of bed in the morning (aches, pains, headaches, etc.), then personal daily habits need to be changed ASAP.
The statement to eat right annoys most, because it is said constantly. But…think about that. If something is said constantly, perhaps it’s really true. Foods that are loaded with iron or magnesium will most definitely aid the body in taking away that fatigue and allowing you to sleep. When you are low on energy, these two minerals hit the blood full-force. They help maintain blood pressure, and they ensure that your aches and pains are minimized, because your body is finally getting the source of energy it needs. YES, eat your vegetables!
Light is another thing to take under consideration. The sun’s Vitamin D is powerful and really needed by the mind and body. However, having an overabundance of light in a bedroom when one is trying to sleep is a no-no. Yes, in big cities there is a great deal of light at night; however, that is what shades and curtains were made for.
Melatonin, is the magic ‘ingredient’ that sends us into dreamland and lets our bodies and minds get much-needed rest. But that melatonin is extremely light sensitive (think vampire walking the Mohave Desert at 9:00 AM). The darker the world is around us, the more melatonin we get, and the easier it is to fall into sleep and get that much-needed rest. And before you ask: a dark room is not dark when a television set is on. A television screen shoots out the fluorescent rays making sleep far more impossible. Besides…there is NOTHING on TV you’re missing.
There are other minerals to have on hand, but the reality of the situation is that fatigue must be cured in order for your health to improve. Take away the aches, pains, and dumb-down that constant anxiety by getting some much-needed zzz’s.
